I think there won't be any new dates announced before next week. They (band + promotors) want to check how fast we buy the tickets for Pinkpop and Werchter.

The Imtech arena has changed names a few times. You can look back to 2007 were it was named HSH Nordbank Arena [www.iorr.org] and was attended by a 30,000 crowd. 2003 they played to 40,000. It's the only bigger stadium that I know in Hamburg.

Supposedly not...

The Friends Arena hosts the local soccer team AIK. They have home matches on May 11th, May 15th and June 2nd. After that the league takes a World Cup break that lasts until July.

Friends Arena is also booked for the Swedish Cup final on May 18th, "Gran Fondo Stockholm" (whatever the heck that is) for May 24th, the Swedish national team soccer match on June 1st and for One Direction on June 13th and June 14th, two nights. Then there's two weeks before Pearl Jam plays on June 28th.

The above would give the Stones windows between May 16th to May 23rd, May 25th to May 31st, June 3rd to June 12th and from June 15th to June 27th. And after Pearl Jam the arena is free for weeks.

Without taking into account the load-in and load-out times for the Stones, One Direction and Pearl Jam.

Right?

This is the day I waited for since Hyde Park. Pinkpop confirmed, and all the rest is looking extremely good too. What a nice pre-summer sun this will be!

Concerning the stadium in Hamburg: it has changed names so often, that we tend to call it 'Stadion an der Müllverbrennung' because it is close to the municipal waste combustor.
We do have Millerntor-stadion with now close to 30.000 capacity, situated in the city. That would be a much nicer choice!

Yeah, but sadly they played all times they came to Hamburg since 2003 in the 'Stadion an der Müllverbrennung'

Stade de France on June 13 would be absolutely perfect for me. Daughter gets out of school on June 11. Family holiday here we come! It will be my third time seeing them at Stade de France, and I don't speak a word of French.
