Re: New Hollywood Reporter Article on Mick's Movie Producing

It is great to see Mick Jagger smiling and enjoying himself working on this project. We all know he could "park" his famous band in Las Vegas and similar places and cash in a lot, but he would rather spend his time on stuff he likes himself.

So while I see quite a few comments on "why do this" and "why do that", I think we all should respect the fact that Mick is now a pretty grown up individual able to make up his own mind, he has got nothing to prove to anyone, and he is doing exactly what anyone else want to do most - enjoying himself.

And yes, he will be showing up with his famous band once more, pretty soon!

I agree with BV. Seriously if you are MJ what do you do with your time and talents especially with boatloads of experience managing creative projects? Take up golf? Nah MJ is one of the few people in the world that can do whatever they want. I am glad he is doing this movie. Honestly I don't think Spike lee could get it right. Mj is one of a handful of people who could understand what it was like to be James Brown especially from a professional standpoint. James Brown deserves a great and accurate biopic. MJ will get it right. I still want more Stones albums but a biopic otis redding would be awesome as well.

I doubt Keith and Charlie would agree

I remember an early 70's interview where Mick said: We'll never do an Vegas stint like Elvis. Well ok.

Anyone here got a jambox? Is sound really that good?
