My favourites is Patti Smith in "Gloria" - the opening line on the song is " Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine"

Mick's line in Jumpin jack flash "I was born in a crossfire hurricane" ain't bad either..

If you think about it, the chorus by Keith (with Others? bop, bop, etc), is timely and is amazing how it works with the song and hard to figue the timing. That is the reason. Also, the lyrics are perfect and matches the bass line and Drums.

Yeah, great song. Letter (Box Tops?) always get air time on the oldies stations but never this classic.
