Rd: Picture above of John Lee Hooker... TheGreek posted that it was from the Steel Wheels PPV but I'm wondering if John Lee actually sat in on multiple nights. In the picture above Charlie has "Christmas decorations" on his drum mic stands and riser. I'm pretty sure those weren't there on the PPV (I think I would have remembered). Also on the PPV Clapton was on stage for the John Lee Hooker number and he, Ronnie & Keith pretty much stayed lined up in front of Charlie's riser for the duration. Another discrepancy, I'm pretty sure that on the PPV, Ronnie was wearing different clothes.
Anyway, I'm not trying to prove TheGreek wrong in any way. The Christmas decorations just caught my eye and got me thinking. Possibly someone from the department of historical accuracy could set me straight!
Peace,
Mr DJA

Good eye and good memory .You are so correct about EC, Woody and Keith lined up behind John Lee Hooker and ditto for the Christmas Decorations and now that I look at the photo I also seem to remember Ronnie and Keith wearing different clothes also .Did the Stones play a show at the Boardwalk hall prior to the PPV show ? This then could have been from that show as they would have been doing camera blocking and setup for the PPV show which I seem to think was 12/19/89 ? Well I just looked up the dates and the Stones did 3 shows at the Boardwalk Hall on the 17,19, and the 20th .So it's from one of those anyway my sincere compliments at your good eye to detail .Quote

If this is the James Cagney event which I think it is then the song was already released.

Guess the pic with Jeff Beck is from the White House.
IIRC Mick was wearing this leather jacket during the rehearsals there.
