Guitars on press conference

After seen the three songs from the press conference (at rollingstones.com) I have to say that I really liked it. I’m impressed. Especially the sound of Keith’s raw guitar.
I’m not a guitar player (can't hardly play a tune, actually) but wasn’t it less of the old form of weaving? Or wasn’t it just that type of songs?
I think I prefer Keith’s distinct riffs. And letting Ron do the solos.

It was the absence of Plinky Plinky Leavell.

Thommie! It was just some awesome guitars with Keef on the riffs and Ronnie putting bits and pieces in where they supposed to be.
Hopefully we will have a new album full of this sort of songs. At last!
Like Beggars Banquet, then again filled with some good piano playing and a lot
of harmonica from Mick!

Raw sensual blues and rock is what we want and I think we will get it!

I think and hope we are in for an album like you guys mentioned above. I think the Stones are at their best when Keith is doing the Chuck Berry like riffs and Ronnie is filling in the other parts of the song. Hopefully since Mick is a smart man they have been trying to hear what all the fans want. Maybe he has been looking in on some message boards.
