James Woods a Big Fan of Stones

This is a brief clip of James Woods, a great actor, coming out of a Rolling Stones surprise club gig in Los Angeles. I think it is a recent clip.

I always get a kick out of seeing or hearing of famous actors or public figures attending, and enjoying, the Rolling Stones. In the case of James Woods, his admiration is genuine. I saw a clip of him, many years ago, talking up the then newly released Tattoo You. One could tell he was being sincere when he said the album was awesome.

I do not care for actors and such who attend just to be seen or who want to be thought of as super cool. I just cannot tell which ones are being genuine and which ones are putting on a big front. James Woods is a true fan.

Bill German's book mentions hanging with Keith and Woody and James Woods during the '89 tour.

I actually was eating at the same restaurant as him on Sunset Blvd. the day of the first LA show in 1997...I remember it blowing my mind because he was wearing a black leather jacket with a massive stones tongue on the back.

It seemed to me pretty obvious he was doing a 'pregame' before the concert.

I had tickets to the second night of the show.

ah, the good old days.

James Woods...... graduated from MIT. Over the top IQ. He comes from modest circumstances. Conservative in politics... a plus in my book at least

Yeah... I'm not sure Mick & Keef like to have that type of Bush family supporter around them.
Maybe Woods brought them backstage some free C. which made his presence more acceptable?

His IQ is 180.
Isn't that the same as being crazy?

Not sure if it was meant to be in the original script or not, but there's a scene in 'Salvador' which always made me smile where Woods' character visits the home of a local girl he has the hots for, and manages to impress her young son by bringing him a Stones t-shirt as a gift.

The same IQ as George Bush sr and jr, Dick Cheney, Bob Dole, Donald Rumsfeld, Dan Quayle, Karl Rove and Ronald Reagan...
