Yoh...clearly stolen from "Tumbling Dice". Why the Stones didn't sue Jagger is beyond me!

i think it´s more than "stolen" - it´s a sample from the original recording….

Yes, I really liked this version. It's better than the original CD-version. This song, I think, is a highlight in Sir Michael's solo work. Another song on this level is "Saint of Me" which also was accompanied with a great video.
"Saint of Me" sounds like a Mick Jagger song to me.

Also, at the beginning there, he samples Howling Wolf talking in the Howling Wolf sessions........."alright, let's get on it........", originally pre song chat in the rehearsal for little red rooster.

Great song, one of Jagger's best songs, period.

Perhaps that's why Keith didn't--or wouldn't--play on it?

Funny detail about this version is that you can hear the tumbling Dice intro during the whole song

That's a sample;
my thing is - I have never heard this version. With there being a video, it obviously saw some kind of release. Where was I?

Great version but I prefer the original...it's got more of a gospel feel and I prefer that to this version.

Sounds like the Hipgrass version faded out around the 3.50 mark ...
