Get A Line On You and I Give You Diamonds - two amazing quality boots of Exile outtakes, some from the 69 Let It Bleed Sessions. Far superior than anything on the official Exile Outtakes released a few years ago.

I don't know these boots. Can you please give us a list of the tracks on them?

Here ya go Torn.

Some of Syd Barrett's best work with Pink Floyd still has yet to be released--officially. Fortunately there are compilations like Milk Weg, which also includes alternate versions of select cuts from his post-Floyd solo albums, some of which are taken from live BBC archive performances. A great survey disc to pass along to the novice who is curious about Barrett's seminal work. Also has a good deal of acoustic takes to balance out the more experimental electronic work.

Scream thy last scream old woman with a casket
Blam blam your pointers point your pointers
What'll be to crunch in your sisters
She'll be scrubbing bubbles on all fours

Scream thy last scream old woman with a casket
Fling your arms madly old lady with a daughter
Flack chap chau fauses, mouses, houses
Flittin and hittin and fittin quack quack

Watching the teley till all hours big time
Fling your arms madly old lady with a daughter

Scream thy last scream old woman with a casket
Blam blam your pointers point your pointers
What'll be coming to crunch in your sisters
She'll be scrubbing bubbles on all fours

Scream thy last scream old woman with a casket

Get Satisfaction...If You Want!

A 21-track collection of various BBC performances and interviews from 1963 to 1965, some of which are the clearest, most balanced live sound they achieved in those days. In particular is the Camden Theatre set, recorded in full stereo, with a studio audience that merely cheers and applauds at the beginnings and endings of songs only and chats rather than shouts, so that the band could hear themselves play. A standout from that set is Mona, which sounds so full and nuanced that it could have come from the original studio recording. Occasionally, the BBC did produce some superb live recordings.

We could use a little happiness around here. Frankly, I'm bored with the current topic of obsession and am going where my levity takes me. Cheers, my friend! smileys with beer
