I remember this photo, taken on Leighton beach in Perth, Western Australia the day before L'Wren passed away. Brings back ordinary memories of that sad time.

"May 1, 1965, The Rolling Stones play Philadelphia PA and Bernie Walters was sitting front row. He took numerous rolls of both color and black and white film, all of which now sits in our archive. Mick Jagger Keith Richards Bill Wyman are seen here. No Charlie Watts or Brian Jones in this photo. We have both the original negatives and each vintage photo (all 55 of them)."

Looks like he's being interviewed by Charles Manson!

Of.... tripping out, looking up at a mirror overhead on the ceiling, and taking a picture with your old Brownie camera?

Performance ….Still a GREAT film

I'm sure Guy Ritchie has studied it some ……..

Every time I watch Rock N Rolla I see tiny touches of
Performance ... gangster brutality … the gay connection...
the layout of Johnny Quid's room … Man and horse painting …. you know just lil thangs ...

I’ve thought the 2 Guy Ritchie films I have seen quite good.
I’m saving Performance. Wasn’t on the plane que, tho...;-)

YEAH 35 ..…. darken the room..
Get a little loaded and view
Performance on ya own …

It takes a lil' before Anita
and Mick appear but that helps
build the tension … the close up's
of gangster mugs … and amongst all
the madness the innocence of Lorraine
the child servant …. esp with moustache...….

Mick's strumming to Johnson's
Come On In My Kitchen then merging into
Hookers'---- I'm Bad Like Jesse James …...Powerful stuff

Pretty sure that's '73 near the time of the Australian tour when he had his hair cut short (it became longer later in '73 around the European tour). His shirt and that woman's hair is very '70s too.
