Iggy Pop presents the first of two festive shows. This first one looks at those Rockin' Rebels that helped shape and define the sound of Rock 'n' Roll in the mid-20th centruy. In Iggy Pop's Radio Show he will offer listeners an exclusive insight into the mind of one of the most influential rock stars of the last 40 years.

Iggy plays and talks about his favourites:

Otis Redding, Bukka White, Link Wray, and other greats...

Iggy is interesting and cool guy - and his low voice is perfect for radio...I wish Keith and Mick would do this kinda of radio show someday and just play their favourites and talk about their influences on radio..that would be cool...)

Thanks! Listening now. It's a Christmas miracle.

But I wonder when he recorded it. He refers to Honeyboy Edwards in the present tense, though he died in August 2011.

<<He refers to Honeyboy Edwards in the present tense, though he died in August 2011.>>

Perhaps because the music is still--and always--alive to him.smiling smiley

Part 2 of this wonderfull radio show is now available.

This one looks at those artists who've taken the uncomfortable experience of Heartbreak and Heartache and made it into aural art.

Iggy talks about his favourite lovesongs, including music from The Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Thunders, Buddy Guy, George Jones and others...

Beautifull...
