That voice and manner of speech could belong to any gender, really.
So the Department Head requests the input of locals who recognize the interviewer.

Thanks for the video. Elly was a big name Journalist here in Holland. Nice to see the entire interview. 1973 was the year when the Stones became my Big Priority in music, and i was only 13.

Elly is a woman's name Jeroen, the reference is to her looks. It's nice of you to ignore that. Looking at the english language poetry web page, she sounds like an interesting, creative person.
