Blondie Chaplin as a regular guest???

...

1. It should be Rockman on top of the list
2. How does Blondie fit in? He lives in L.A.'s South Bay and he's originally from South Africa.
3. You Know if they do a special guest thing that Lorde will get the call, most likely in New Zealand, unless she's in the States at the time, then it will be the singer from Naked & Famous.

I just miss Blondie, that's all, I know he is not from Australia.

I just saw Blondie Saturday night. He seems to have a re-newed energy since playing with Brian Wilson recently.

The only Aussies fit to share a stage with The Stones are AC/DC or Nick Cave......Surely Jagger cannot embarrass the band anymore than he has already. Timberlake, Stefani, Swift!!!!!!! Sad, very sad.

I'm sure they will invite ..Kylie Minogue or AC/DC ... but that will be a dissapointment and not so interesting ...if you ask me, the only interesting aussie rockers are Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Radio Birdman - yeah, they should have Denis Tek on guitar and I think Tex Perkins would be really interesting ...

You do know who they are, dont you ?

Beware having AC/DC supporting in Australia. many rock fans thought they stole the show on the Licks tour

She and Mick can do a medley of "Physical" and "Let's Work."

Who should get THE BIG CALL to join The Stones on stage in Australia and New Zealand?

This young lady for a start probably one of Australias greatest Guitarist Orianthi Panagaris from Adelaide smoking smiley

[youtu.be]

It would be great, but l doubt they will call her,she would play rings around Keith, and after Dave Grohl actully played much better than Keith and stole "Bitch" in LA,l truly doubt it..

They brought on a guest drummer with The Black Keys tongue sticking out smiley

Only as part of a package deal--his singer was there also.

It was better for The Stones to introduce their guest as The Black Keys, and therefore include the drummer as well, which people in the audience might know, rather than just just announcing the singer from The Black Keys, whose name less people would be likely to know.

My original point was, aside from Bill Wyman, they would never bring someone on just to play bass. What would Darryl do?

Double bill, Stones & Primal Scream at Hanging Rock. That would be awesome smiling smiley

Ask Guns N' Roses to reunite to support them for their last tour? Might get them to do it.

More likely Tex Perkins, Tim Rodgers, Jet, Wolfmother or Bernard Fanning/PowderFinger.

Completely disagree with your opinion,l think Dave is one of the young players that will take Rock and Roll into the future, and btw Mick seems to also like him a lot,Keith not so sure, after all Dave did outplayed him in LA,but hey,"different strokes for different folks",no problem.....

I'm a fan, especially of his drumming, but this seems to position him as a newcomer, whereas to most young musicians Grohl is already part of the "older" musical generation.

Aqua,u r right,he is not a youngter as is Orianthi, perhaps l was thinking in comparison to The Stones age wise, also love his drumming, the thing is he brings lot of energy to the stage as he did in LA,when he guessed on "Bitch"..
