the 1st and the last,doom & gloom.hahahaha all of them for diffrent reasons,stones have made good music all through the last 50 years.

On the whole 1962 - 2013 and still counting....

But if I had to narrow it down to a specific period I would have to say 7/11/69-21/12/69 I love everything about the 69 tour and Christmas shows, mainly the band's image and how cool they looked on and off stage, obviously the music goes without saying. I like Jones, Taylor and Wood eras for different reasons.

Doxa, they wrote and recorded an insane number of songs during these sessions. I understand they did that because they were afraid Keith would have to do long time in jail.

When he didn't have to, they let many of those songs rest, although they used some of them on ER, TY and the SG DeLuxe.

That tells me that the songs were good enough. The focus and the inspiration was directed at what I mentioned above.
