I LOVE THE STONES.

I have been following this board for about 2 years and just became a member. I cant tell you how excited I am about this news. From the years I have read this board I must give credit to "the source"and "Bjornulf" you both know what your talking about and I really appreciate that. You made many a days happy for me making think about the stones and now its all going to begin next week! Thank heaven and looking forward to the next couple months as the tour comes into motion.

One week to go and then we will have all the news about the tour. Tickets are expected to go on sale on the 14th for the first shows, then more the week after on the 21st. Mainly stadium shows first from what I can see. Which is good, because then more people will be able to see them. And don't worry. There will be smaller venues as well.

Probably nowhere, couldn't catch it online in 2002 either. Probably bits on rs.com afterwards if you have access.

We don't even have VH1 in Holland.

Ah, didn't know that Gazza, but then again, I can't receive Sky News, so that's no surprise, lol!

as BBC has a 24 hour news service (as does ITN), its possible...again, everything depends on what other major news stories are breaking that day.

Whilst Sky showed the last press conference, they only did so on their interactive service in order for them to also be able to run other stories at the same time.

This would again be the most likely scenario. If the Stones are as rumoured confirming a tour to be their final one, it may get more news coverage than before.

For all the knockers out there who said that the Stones would not tour this year against the backdrop of U2 may you be pronounced well and truly stuffed.
