Not Fade Away a new book
Posted by: ukheart ()
Date: September 23, 2013 21:19

Hello I want to tell you about my book, some of it may or may not interest you but it might give you a different view of what Brian was like back in the 60’s/
I have used the song titles as my chapters and included the lyrics.
It is my life story

Have just read the sample offered by iBooks and soon as I finish posting am going purchase the book. As a fan of Brian's music since 1964 (especially after hearing the harmonica on Not Fade Away), very much looking forward to reading the book. Thank you for sharing your story and best wishes to you and your family.

Liked reading this excellently written book Dawn. What fortitude you have had throughout your interesting life; many sad times, but happy ones too. This book is also worth purchasing if anyone is interested in London in the early sixties, along with so many great historical pictures. Many of the Stones early venues are pictured as well. Blessings to you and your family, Dawn. By the way, I received by copy very easily through iBooks for an Apple IPad for 9.99 US dollars.

Dawn,

I just got a chance to get to Amazon and check out your book and must say that I am very much looking forward to reading it. Unfortunately I don't have a Kindle or I-Pad. In an earlier post, you seem to indicate that you're working on getting an actual "book" version produced. If this comes to pass, please update this site as I may not get the opportunity to read it until that happens. Until then, all the best to you and your's!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Some good reviews on Amazon. smiling smiley I have to admit to being taken aback by the one written by a self-professed non-Stones-fan that said "The constant references to the Rolling Stones were actually a distraction from the main themes of the book, and became annoying."

Dear UKheart, seems to me that you have accomplished a lot of good things in your life, and I am glad it is a happy one.

I knew Brian in the last year of his life, and he was clearly a trainwreck. Bill is such a good guy and I think it's terrific that you both were able to sit down with your son.

Now you've said what you had to say in a book, and that couldn't have been easy. When it's in print, I will certainly buy it. I am just not an ebook person.

All the best to you to you and your family.
