Blimey. That's some impressive shit.

Like Don was said, there's enough stuff in the Vaults to keep on releasing material for another 50 years.

Bring on the next reissue with Bonus disc, I fukin love em.

When they went into the studio to record the new songs for "40 Licks" they cut enough tracks to release a new album. Chuck Leavell has mention the song Keith recorded called "180." He said it was his favorite from the sessions and one of Keith's best. Rumor was they planned to release the tracks at some point and time. IMHO, "Keys to your love" is a wonderful song. Anyone else know anything about the status of these songs? Btw, you can add "Zip Mouth Angel" to "Honest Man." Another lost gem. Both were record during the "Voodoo Lounge" sessions. Not '02. Should be with the '93 group. Thanks for putting this list up.

It's interesting that with all these songs they don't have to write aything new but if it is true about "180" there is still some fire left!

Let's pray they don't, if the crap they released as 'new' on 40 Licks is any indication. Please don't let it get in the way of releasing anything truly classic.

Yes nice outtakes - Wind call reminds me in certain passages of Tell the truth with Derek and the dominoes, but could have been interesting to hear with MJ-vocals.

Let's have that GHS-deluxe soon!

Chuck mentions the song in his book. "180" came about because Keith was pissed off at everyone and was on the verge of sending some nasty messages, when he did a total '180.'All the Stones have mentioned the 4 songs on the album were among the first cut. Not the best. Of the 4, only 2 are so-so. The record company wanted a Greatest hits package. They felt it would sale better than a new one. That seems to the case with most Rock groups from that era. Classic Rock. No one wants to hear their new stuff. Deep Purple just release their best album in 20 years. "Now What?!" Top of the charts in almost every country. Here in the states? #180 on the Billboard chart. Even the Stones releasing a new album would generate little interest. I have read where Rock artists are doing Radio interviews to promote their new album and the DJ is playing their greatest hits. Got off track, here. just wish a new album from the Stones would come out. They could even pull another "Tattoo You."

can i be the first to start a brian jones v mick taylor thread in who was the greatest at the unreleased songs.

great news though, i really wonder how many songs the stones have actually recorded regardless of who wrote them, or whether they were released or not.

add in the live songs never recorded and the figure could be 6 or 700.

It is a difficult list. Some songs has been released (Leather Jacket - that both were released and turned up as Hand of Fate), others in a different relation (Act together) etc. And then the much more secret that really are missing.

Steen G, am I reading this correctly that Leather Jacket transformed into Hand of Fate? Never heard that and I'm trying to hear this in my head.
