An incredible body of work, but don't forget to check out the late return of three fifths of the Band - Particularly Jericho and Jubilation. These are amazing albums. Atlantic City, Too soon Gone, High Cotton, Book faded brown, If I should fail, Jericho. These are wonderful songs.

My advice-- get them all. Great band ( no pun )--great tracks on all their releases-- including the post-Robertson Band... 'Jericho", "High on the Hog" and "Jubilation"--and don't forget the incredible solo releases from Rick Danko, Levon Helm. Richard Manuel and Garth Hudson. Tons of wonderful stuff to discover !

Live at the Academy looks pretty cool. Just read an interview with Robbie about it. He says he blew the production on "Rock of Ages" & that the new one is going to sound much better.

My favorite track is Christmas Must Be Tonight(Alternate version bonus track on Northern Lights-Southern Cross).

Someone mentioned this edition? This's just great!

Manuel never released any solo albums in his lifetime.

I'd really love to hear Robbie & Jeff Beck jam sometime. It would be take no prisoners, I'm sure. Much like this:

This looks pretty cool but definitely on the pricey side. Wonder if Robbie is still bent on doing a Broadway musical?

Fantastic song. Was written & sang by Jason Isobell who has left the band. He's still performing it with his solo band. There were just too many great songwriters in DBT. He was George Harrison in that regard.

Agreed. Just saw Isbell in concert last month. Great show.

Actually, Isbell penned many of my favorite DBT tunes.

yeah dude thats not real. its about 85%-90% studio material with crowd noise overdubbed. thats why its out of print, the members of the band had it pulled when they discovered it wasn't live

I didn't know that part about the band members pulling the album for that reason.

I bought the Live at Watkins Glen CD when it first came out. The CD came with a cool booklet about Watkins Glen that was a good read. The booklet also had a number of great photos.

So I was disappointed to hear this live album was essentially manufactured in a studio. I thought the Band was in on the con, too. Honestly, the whole fiasco soured me a bit on the Band and their music. I am glad to learn the Band itself was not involved.
