I dig Ya Yas SFTD totally. Early versions on the tour weren't that good.

IMO that goes for most of their material.They are not good musicians and so work hard and long in the studio. One little riff or solo maybe took weeks.So its mostly the studio versions I prefer.

Well, they're known to be a better live band than a studio band.

That said, I know shat you mean. Still, there are several songs sounding better on stage:

Star Star
Whip
Imagination

To name a few...
