I had the chance to finally watch "get on up" on DVD.
For me, that's a good movie, as good as the movies about Ray Charles or Johnny Cash. The music scenes are really well done and the main actor is amazing. The stories about his parents and young days are sad, but it surely close to the truth.
If you haven't seen it, it worth it !

That was the climax to all his shows. Danny Ray was hired to be his 'cape-man'. He stayed employed for many years.
