Cant add any knowledge to this a the moment;
but thats very likely,,, the Stones to play in former east block.
Keefster has always likes to play there; and I picture its the same for the others too. Great audience.
Donnow if they ever BTW played Hungary; but I really like to see them at Népstadion.

They played there once, in 1995.

The Stones played Poland just after the Moscow show August 1998. One of their best shows on that tour according to the Stones themselves. I am sure they will try to do Poland on this tour if it fits into the schedule.

Budapest Hungary was a strong candidate when bidding for one of the final open dates for the 2003 tour in Europe, and again I am sure they have a much higher chance of getting a show as they missed out on the last tour.

The Stones have a tendency of playing every 2nd time in a medium sized market if they can, i.e. if the market is big but not big enough for every tour. Like Ullevi Gothenburg up for 2006, while Stockholm Sweden gets the show next time around etc. Same with several mid-size US cities. Not every tour, but every 2nd or so.

Szia, Baboon Bro! Hogy Vagy? Nem magyar, de olasz vagyok...but I wish I were hungarian, because I've got a lot of friends over there, and I spent there the best time of my life playing last year with my band in Sziget festival! That's why I'm a huge hungarofan as well, but I'm not much into Omega, I prefer bands like Besh O Drom...So, I hope Stones are playing in Hungary next summer, maybe we can meet there and take a beer! Where are you from?

Szia, Ciao!

This is the best part of the trip.
The Soft Parade.

Fínom vagyok, O, te, olasz Vád Slivovitz. Ès te még jól?
Nagy buli stonessal!
Persze not all people can like Omega.
Have you heard much of old vet´s Hobo Blues Band then
(you know they do much Stones´covers)?

Are there any Hungarians out there at Tell Me... ?
Lets make some lobbying for a Stones gig at Szígeti Festival.
...finally I could get a reason for returning to Hungary for the first time since 1985! When I got adsl I rediscovered all my old Hungarian favorite bands.

Visszonlátásra!

@BaboonBro: there's a wonderful Hungarian girl on IORR. She doesn't post very often though.

How does she post?
Does she give it smoothly or does she just throw it in and leave?

Depending on her mood, limbo.
Usually smoothly and with passion.

You're welcome, Limbo - didn't think that your Thai mistress would arrive that fast.
Btw, even if she tells you that her name is Joy - her real name is Pimpaporn Sringram.

Saw one of these Ping Pong shows in Bangkok two weeks ago - quite, ahm, impressing.

I don't know what you silly boys are on about but I suspect it has nothing to do with Bettine Vriesekoop.

Do they, as it were, lay eggs?

Do they actually have girls in their chicken farms over there? Jeez... I've always wondered how chicken influenza can be transmitted to people but now I guess I know.

A utìszotaromban nincs "Fìnom": jelent "Finnish"?

By the way, yes, I've heard about hobo blues band; there are great bluesmen in Hungary, my favourite one is harmonica player Geörgy Ferenczi, who played in Sziget right before us! About Omega, They're ok, but to me they sound very much like an american/british band, while in Hungarian bands I seek the original sound of the land...
To any hungarian on this board: I apologize for my attempt to write in hungarian, it is my first ever, after studying a bit of it with my dictionary; if anyone of you (especially mistress, of course) feels like giving me corrections, you're welcome!

It would really be good to be able to lobby for the Stones to play in Sziget: that would really be nagyon nagy buli Stonessal (Very big party with the Stones)!!!

I also apologize for my Hungarian.
It seem like WS & myself has the same scarcely rudimentary knowledges in this language. I did hit some university courses; but that´s a loooooong time ago.

I´m into the lobby. ("Finn" etc ought to mean Finnish;
maybe I picked up some dialects in Mezökövesd or Miskolc)

György Ferenci (F György in European spelling??); where can I buy or rip off his music... ? I recommendes before at this board HBB and their former front figures "Bill"-Gyúla Deák and Laszlo Földes... (I s'pose you already knew that Istváv A Király is free to download on the web?).

Szia,

I've downloaded ferenczi György's music with DC++, but if you look for it in the web you should fond something; by the way, since it seems you're very much into prog hunarian music, I think you'd like very much a band named Korai öröm: they are really good!!! I think that hungarian servers on DC++ are very good for downloading all this stuff, give a try!!
