Production with good sound and raunch

I think AC/DC has a good recorded sound while maintaining the raunch that defines rock'n'roll. Would a sound like this work for the Stones?

Even with AC/DC, they've used several producers throughout their career so their sound has changed. Early albums use Vanda/Young while Mutt Lange produced their biggest albums, Highway To Hell, BIB and Those About To Rock. Couple albums were self produced and they've also used Bruce Fairbairn and Rick Rubin.
Of all their albums, I still like the sound on Back In Black.
It would be interesting to hear how Mutt Lange would produce a Stones album.

I like the Vanda/Young production of High Voltage in particular.

Rick Rubin would be a good experience, but I have nothing against Don Was.

Concerning ACDC, the Mutt Lange album Highway to Hell is definitely my favorite.
The 80ies albums after For Those... now sound oldfashionned in terms of production IMO. They've been doing increasingly better from album to album starting with Blow up your video, and I really like the sound of Stiff Upper Lip.

RR would be a good choice for the Stones.
