Wally Tax (The Outsiders) Memorial - Benefit

Last Sunday Wally Tax, the former frontman/singer of the legendary Dutch band "The Outsiders" died.
The Outsiders will be remembered as the support act for The Rolling Stones-gig in Den Bosch, Holland in March 1966, the only time The Stones have been blown of the stage in The Netherlands.

Wally Tax died at home, in Amsterdam, aged 57, lonesome, poor.

Tomorrow, Sunday April 17 at 8.30 PM in Amsterdam, Paradiso there will be a benefit concert to collect some money to pay his funeral on Monday.

A lot of Dutch artists will show up to pay their respect for this giant icon of Rock 'n' Roll in the low lands. Huub van der Lubbe (De Dijk), The Lau (The Scene), Freek de Jonge, Simon Vinkenoog, Aat Velthoen and the remaining members of The Outsiders will be there.

I wonder if many other visitors of this board will show up tomorrow.

I'd love to. But I'm not in Holland right now.
I don't know if the Outsiders blew the Stones offstage,
but they were really good. That first album with a
live concert from 1966 is amazing.
