The Rolling Stones did a good job on tour.

But they didn't grasp the opportunity to achieve an historic tour, IMHO. As someone wrote: "They had a Ferrari, they left it in the garage".

They used Mick Taylor and showed him respect and friendship, with a basic ambiguity though. Not capable of drawing a (healthy) line in using him.
It reminds me these words from House of the Rising Sun
" ...one foot on the platform
The other foot on the train..."

I was hoping that MT would get a chance to play on songs where he could showcase his expressive playing and rip through the songs like he did on GS,TD,SFM etc and play to a new audience that have only seen the vegas version.

Playing on MR with all the stops and starts was okay but I would of preferred more songs where he could showcase his expressive playing. CYHMK was great but I was hoping for more. I hope he satisfied MJ and hope MJ wants MT around for maybe studio work and more live gigs.

play the guitar boy.

I'd say the one BIG bonus in Mick Taylor playing on this tour was that for the first time in years, he dropped some weight and actually looked pretty healthy, can't be a bad thing can it?
