Unless it has those two chords in it I'm not watching it.

The timing of this thing is strange. With all the documentaries, stagework, Keith's biography, etc., with the Stones over the last couple years, interest in Keith, or a new angle, seems faded. What great secrets are we to learn? Hasn't Keith been pretty much exhausted as a subject? So he hangs out with Depp at Musso & Frank in Hollywood and they have to go out on the street to smoke their cigarettes. Is that enough to fill a documentary? Keith just spilled the beans on most of his life in 'Life'? This may be a project that took too long to complete.

Agreed. If this had come out in 1995 I would be chomping at the bit to see this. Information was harder to come by in general then, which might have something to do with it for me, or maybe I'm just getting burnt out on Keef. However, I bet there are a few folks that attended Glastonbury, got turned on to the Stones, and are finding that their thrill of discovery is alive and well. I want my Stones salad days back.

Johnny Depp is turning into the poor man's James Franco.

I don't think I could withstand more than a few minutes of Keith. His interviews are becoming increasingly tiresome. Waving a lit Marlboro - but not smoking it, obviously - cackling, Muddy Waters and various other, sigh, 'cats'.

One suggested title for the "film" -- THE BIG YAWN.

How about 'After Life'?

It's Keith, I'll watch. Even though he's become a caricature of a caricature.

I think it's more interesting to make a documentary about Keith Richards on Mick Jagger....could accompany the new solo album by keith of 2014 would not be bad idea!

I'm looking forward to this film. Johnny Depp's heart is in the right place.

Keith is a GREAT rock and roll star.

The Deppster has made some fine movies...I'm just not a fan of that Pirate crap.

And in these days of "over-marketing" I dread the "baloney" that comes with it.

That Pirate crap did make him a boatload of money...but, I agree. The first movie was fun, but it's been all down hill from there.

Anyway, his Tonto turn has landed with a big thud, so maybe that will be the motivation Depp needs to get back to doing some interesting roles.

As for his Keith film, I think there is still a large audience out there that knows next to nothing about Keith Richards, but they do know who Johnny Depp is. That alone will bring in some viewers, and I'm with Thrylan, It's Keith, so I'll watch too.

Yes.. CGI madness took over... that waterwheel fight scene was about 30 minutes too long.

As was the weird stone crabs thing later.

I never even watched POTC IV (was there one?)

The Minions ("despicable me 2") killed tonto which is unfortunate because Depp fell of horse and was dragged and everything.
