Interesting how Mick answers differently from Keith about the longevity question. Keith always says that they'll just go on until they drop. Mick seems to indicate that they'll (The Stones) keep doing it so long as there's an audience, but will not give a definitive answer about when he will stop with performing.

Strange to think that Mick and Keith are the same age as John Humphrys (who was getting teased on air because, like the Stones, he is at his first Glastonbury at 69 and freely admitted to being "blown away" by the experience)

Very good interview, and noticeable that most of the stuff about Mick wanting to do something else with his life was prompted by the interviewer.

A difference without a distinction really, since there'll be an audience until at least of them can't do it anymore. Just a typically different framing by Mick.

I agree that was a great interview. But it just confirmed how the average person wants to hear the warhorses. John Humphrys wanted Satisfaction and Brown Sugar, but little did he know that he hardly needed to ask for them! Didn't his researchers tell him anything about the raging setlist debates?!

Mick came across as being fairly evasive: he certainly outsmarted Humphreys, which is, normally, quite difficult to do.
