We have finally got a real source. Ronnie Wood said on Virgin radio that the tour will start in september. So all the rumours about Hyde Park and august are off the road.

The 8/21 & 8/23 Fenway dates have been applied for, as reported in Boston press, & confirmed by Mayor's office, - will be decided on Mar 30th.

Did Ronnie say it starts in US? Did he deny there will be a (surprise) gig in Hyde Park? No?

well he didnt say they'd be playing on Mars, either.....so it hardly matters what details he DIDNT say.

Telling a UK radio audience that you're going to start in the US is hardly going to be of significance to too many people.

For me this announcement means nothing.
Ron doesn't know when and where the tour will start (does Jagger already know?).
End of august - beginning of september, he doesn't know exactly.
For me, end of august is perfect (crossed fingers).

if ronnie not involved in the making of the new album...i shouldnt think he has much to do about tour details
anyhow rehearse in canada and drop into the states to start tour (boring)
been there done that... come on lads some special shows please...hyde park would be nice now that would be special
