Set list from the O2 last night

Love And Only Love
Powderfinger
Psychedelic Pill
Walk Like A Giant
Hole In The Sky
Red Sun
Comes A Time
Blowing In The Wind
Singer Without A Song
Ramada Inn
Cinnamon Girl
F*!#in' Up
Mr. Soul
Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)
Like A Hurricane
Roll Another Number (For The Road)
Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

About 2.5 hours including about 15 minutes of feedback! Not much interaction with the audience until about an hour in to the set. Classic Neil, he doesn't give a shit. Thinking about going again.

by lack of interaction, you mean no fingerpopping? no dancing around, pretending to be 20-something again? you mean to tell me he acts his age and concentrates on delivering high-quality music????

this is clearly not the best tour ever...

Can you imagine if Neil had his guitar-tech backstage running his whizzer?

No, I meant he didn't even acknowledge his audience were there with a "thank you" or his more usual "how you doing" for about an hour

Here's an off topic question, but seeing "Crazy Horse" made me think of the lyric in Live With Me, "She's found the crazy horse" What does that mean?!?!? I tried to search the internet for an answer, but no luck.

The correct lyric is

The maid, she's French, She's got no sense
She's from the Crazy Horse
When she strips, the chauffeur flips
The footman's eyes get crossed

The Crazy Horse is a famous cabaret in Paris known for it's nude dancers.

Exactly. when I saw the thread title, I though Neil Young was going to perform in the Crazy Horse.

I went too, and am also now going on August 19th

Absolutely amazing form, the contrast between these old timers kicking up a proper sonic rock n roll show and the glitzy Stones gig i witnessed at the same venue last year was like chalk and cheese (with emphasis on the cheese in the Stones case)

If the Stones could play for 2 hours like they do for Midnight Rambler, then i'd be following them around too. Sadly they can't so i'm bowing out of Stones gigs and thinking of adding in a few more NY&CH

Saw him too in O2 on Monday. I thought it was a bit tired show. Sort of run out of juice during the solos. I am probably mad but for me the best moment of the whole night was La Bamba from Los Lobos which was completely different from the usual, as if they would play Dylan's Like a rolling stone. A treat.
