In fact, complete fantasy on my part.

But that is the only Boston "special guest" that works for me. A Paint It Black done in the Eric Burdon and The Animals arrangement ( Monterey Pop Fest ). That would go down easy, show a little imagination to boot.

This would be cool and right up Mr. Ma's alley. He's no classical music snob, loves the cross-pollination of music from all traditions. I don't even know if he's on the other side of the Charles River this week, but one can dream.

Great memories brought back with this post... I have an actual Smothers Brothers "Yo-Yo Man" Yo-Yo in my collection at home that was given to me after I worked a show of theirs back in the late '80's. What a fun night that was (at least the parts I remember)!
