"Alluringly plump".

I thought that was quite gallant of the interviewer. Lisa seems like she'd be great fun to hang out with.

Thanks for posting the article, Martinjnstone.

Gimme Shelter was a hit?

Always get a bit upset when people don't know what they are talking about..........never released as single as far as I know...
On the other hand "To Much Blood "was never released as a single in my country, but everyone thinks it did because it was played for weeks on a radio station.................

Gimme Shelter was a hit?

It was never released as a single, but not all hits were singles. There were loads of songs from around that time that were never singles, but were hits in that they were staples of FM rock radio, e.g., Free Bird, Layla, Stairway, etc.

Gimme Shelter has been a staple of FM rock radio for four-plus decades and is generally recognized as one of the crowning achievements of the greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world. A song that meets that description sure sounds like a hit to me.
