no earthly reason why all the shows can't be out there in days (even hours) in lossless quality through bit-torrenting. I was listening to the first show of the current Dylan tour within hours of the gig - in incredible sound quality.

Here's what I hope--the Stones will follow the example of the latter-day Who and Pearl Jam and offer CDs of the show within hours of the performance, thus undercutting the bootleggers. Offer them through RS.com--why the hell not? Not everyone is gonna get to attend a show. We have enough collectors around that I'd bet every single release would be snatched up.

don't get your hopes up on this - the technology to do this has been around for quite awhile and the Stones haven't hopped aboard...and with Jagger's "perfectionism" it's very unlikely to happen...

well, Ronnie lost his voice a bit, but his playing is really excellent! Hope he keeps this up for the next tour! Btw, notice Ian Mclagan..I don't know if it is because Jagger was present, but he is playing his ass off. Hope Mick heard it too, and hires him back for the next tour!

Damn you Keith...this post really pisses me off. I can feel it already...that damn fever has hit. The taste is in my mouth...I'm ready to sell the car & some blood. I was all set to save my money this time, enjoy time with the woman & ride off into the sunset (mostly b/c these tours REALLY hurt me financially). This damn post just reminded me I got the hooks in me. The pool's in but the patio ain't dry...but it sure as hell will be. Like they say...on with the show...show me the road.

Great hearing from you mathijs, i`m notice it also, and i think that ronnie plays for about 2 years now great. The man had a really rough time with the alcohol and the drugs, glad that he is back. Lets vote for ian for the next tour, it will be in combination with chuck, but it will rock.
