Of course I dont know anything for sure, dont ask me,
I simply pay attention and read the tea leaves... its the odds maker in me.


If you are in Chicago and are interested in the club show, go register, it might pay and cant hurt.

Of course I stand by my earlier opinion that I dont understand why they would
play a club show, it makes no sense, but what does that have to do anything?

i don't think it will be a club show as much as a drop-in at a blues club where they play a few numbers.

Judging by the size of my inbox I appear to have created a little confusion! I was merely posting a link to the tour dates to confirm the Rolling Stones definitely are playing :-) I am at home in London and only planning 6 more shows Philly 1 & 2 / Washington, Glastonbury and Hyde Park 1 & 2.

6 more shows until the fall you mean....this money machine isn't stopping in the USA until after they come back from Europe....they're going to milk this one.

On the other hand, the Detroit Cobras were in fine fettle when we arrived to continue our debauchery after a superb show at UC

Guys I just rolled by the Double Door. I see no activity, Upstaging trucks, or anything to indicate a club show tonight. I think it's more likely that if they have the venue booked it's for a a birthday party for Charlie.

The Stones were not at the House of Blues last night. I was there and know the guitarist in the Lovehammers. The Stones were rumored to be there and had suites which were empty the whole show.

Huge chance at publicity for these guys. It's possible one or more stones showed up - often the publicity hounds will say "the stones were here" when it was just one or two of the band members.
