There is one option: DON'T BUY IT! That some people think they just HAVE to buy EVERYTHING is not the record companies faults. They make an offer and people can refuse to buy it.
There is a market for those reissues, just keep them coming.

Yeah, keep'em coming. I was debating whether or not to make a trip to IKEA to buy another billy bookcase...I guess that decision is now made.

I got the Beggar's Banquet LP "free" when I bought the BB Telecaster last year.

I recently bought a clear vinyl of Beggars Banquet. Impressed by the quality of the vinyl and the overall sound (very quiet and steady) but not so much by the sound of the album itself. Though better than the CD, it sounded very digital to me. Also kind of muffled, lacking spark.

That's because nearly all records are made using digital source. I also have the BB vinyl and pretty much enjoy the novelty of it.

Listened to it again. Pristine sound but the warmness is gone. I think I'll avoid buying "remastered" vinyl from now on.
