Set List

The Vegas set list was the worst so far on this tour. What happened to all the great songs we heard during rehearsals. Where is the great blues/rock band that we have loved for so many years. Disco is dead. Get rid of Emotional Rescue, Doom and Gloom, and One More Shot, and bring back the great songs like Love in Vain, Sway, Rip This Joint, Sweet Virginia, and others that were rehearsed. Please don't let it end this way!

The ones you want to get rid of I´ve never heard.

The other ones you want I have heard live. What are we gonna do now?

You never heard Emotional Rescue because they always had enough sense not to play it. I admit I am an old Stones fan and if this is going to be the last time I see the best band that ever took the stage I want to hear the songs that made them great.

it's always good to get the worst one out of the way early in the tour, right?

I'm amazed they play the same old stuff without boredom setting in.

Apparently the only songs they play are the songs that get on FM radio. Let's start a campaign to get Star Star back on the radio. If it gets in the charts maybe they'll play their 'new hit'.

Can only hope they mix up the setlist in Toronto. They usually toss in a couple of gems on the first show after a week break in the tour.

Hoping to see them do Sway and CYHMK with Mick Taylor in Toronto. Dreaming a little dream here.

you have to admire them, then. if it had been any of us, we'd have blown our brains out years ago.

Since 1975,I have seen every tour multiple times.I love them dearly, but I have heard every song a million times live and will pass this time around. Yes, the set list is a bore IMO.

I believe the Stones care what we think. Thanks for your support on the set list issue. If we keep it up they may do something about it. I want my rock and blues playing Stones back!

I am not whining but I wish the setlist would change. They can rotate the warhorses and play a more varied setlist early in the show. Why open with CLoud every night?

It was my least favorite set list. Though I love All Down The Line.

But, they played incredibly well and by far my favorite Midnight Rambler; and Vegas was my 5th show this tour.

I want to see ER, D&G and OMS, so they can stay. The two new songs are great, no need to drop them.

So you're effectively saying black n blue, that after playing JJF a thousand times, it would no longer be a gas gas gas and that brown sugar wouldn't taste so good any more.

I love Emotional Rescue. Its one of the best songs they are currently playing. If you want old classics, get Four Flicks.

Hilarious. The Stones play three songs they've never played before and now we complain about that? They really can't win.

Were you there? Did you hear it? If not, this has no credibility.

Exactly.

I was there and the set list worked. The Stones CRUSHED IT last night in Las Vegas.

Were there "other" songs I would have preferred? Of course.

Whatever.

The show was tremendous!

If the songs on the Set List are Stones songs then that should do the trick, but/and as usual it sounds like most of the people who are complaining were not even there.

Ridiculous eh...they act like they're offended and they're not even at the show.

Ludacris I say!

And I agree with you, of course, but what would Ludacris say? Not that I want to ask him winking smiley

San Jose had the best setlist so far. And the best guest performances.
