Mick Taylor meets Paul Stanley.

Would love to hear Taylor ripping up Detroit Rock City or Shout It Out Loud.

LOL "rock legend". I'm a big KISS fan, but Paul Stanley wouldn't have been anywhere on my list of "rock legends" that I thought of before opening this thread. Cool to see though. I hope Paul was more in awe of Taylor than Paul just thinking it was another "fan" that loves him.

I agree, it would be cool to hear Mick Taylor alongside Ace Frehley tearing it up on guitar.

I'm thinking 'Hard Luck Woman' might me more appropriate.

Paul Stanley looks like some bad plastic surgery while MickT is has been shedding the pounds and is ready to rumble when Mick Jagger gives him the green light. In my book it is Jagger blocking him in the current tour. Lets see if Mick Taylor gets more stage time tonight in Oakland. So far Keith is coming off as a doofus for going on about the three guitar attack.

Paul Stanley isn't fit to shine Taylor's shoes.

Got to disagree with you there. I think Paul would be perfectly capable of shining Taylor's shoes.

The cost of a shoe shine at the airport.

Cool. Paul looks very happy, can't tell with Taylor. I'm not a huge KISS fan, but they're not bad. They are legends and I enjoyed their cover of 2000 Man. Which is why Two Rock Legends Meet would have been a better title. KISS has covered the Stones, not the other way around. The only person in the band I can't stand is Gene, Paul seems like a decent enough guy.

Of course Paul Stanley (is that his real name?) is a rock legend. Kiss are rock legends whether we like it or not. And when it comes to merchandising they outshine even Sir Michael.

Of course it isn't, it's Starchild.

But here on Earth his birth certificate reads Stanley Harvey Eisen.

By the way, anybody seen Role Models? Pretty funny movie, very Kiss oriented as one of the characters is a big Kiss fan. Even if you're not crazy about Kiss it's pretty humorous.

Just watch this scene, if you don't crack up there's something wrong with your funny bone.

Except that Mick Taylor doesn't wear--or can't afford--shoes....

....so it's probably better to say that Stanley Eisen isn't fit to tie Mick's sneakers.

Stanley couldn't carry Taylor's jock strap. One can play and the other wishes he could play.

I guess he is trying to blend in. The Stones are a sneakers band now. From Wood's monochrome ones to Jagger's platform sneakers. They never wore sneakers in the late 60s though...

I just rolled those names off in about 10 secs. trying to think of, 'Who is Paul Stanley',at the same time.

Thought of about 20 more,'Rock Legends' since then. winking smiley

Except, of course, for Charlie, who has always had his own style apart from the others.
