Can't imagine this one working very well live. Not in a big venue anyway.

They've never played it because whilst it's a nice album track it could be difficult live and a bit draggy.

Out of fear it could easily crumble?

Wouldn't Jigsaw Puzzle cut into the time needed for Miss You?

i always thought jigsaw puzzle could have been a good song to close hyde park gig in 1969.

if they did the song would have had more exposure and possibly become an iconic stones song in the same mould of sympathy for the devil or satisfaction.

sadly they have never done it live and i doubt now they ever will.

and even if they did, i cant honestly see them doing it nearly as good as the studio track.

i live in hope though.

A performance of BEGGARS BANQUET from start to finish would be welcome. It won't happen, but I value it the same as LET IT BLEED and EXILE.

Jigsaw Puzzle would've been a groovy song to play at the RnR Circus.

And Sticky Fingers!

I love Jigsaw Puzzle. One of my favorites on the album. I agree, it could easily seem like it wouldn't work well live, although I'd still love to hear it. Or at least them acknowledge it. Probably the only song on that album I've never heard them play live or mention so I'm just plain interested to hear their modern day thoughts on it.

Can't be having that. Or cutting into another sing-along of YCAGWYW.
Jigsaw Puzzle is a killer tune.
It would need to have plink-free piano though.

Yeah, it's a great studio song, but live it would be just some generic acoustic song with familiar lyrics. There's no way Keith and Darryl could recreate that frantic acoustic guitar and awesome bassline that really make the song take off instead of sounding like some generic Bob Dylan number. And I'm not a Chuck hater, but I fear he would really just run away with that song while at the same time not coming close to what Mr. Nicky did.

Having said all that, I'd probably pee myself a little if I saw it on a setlist, it is one of my favorite Stones songs since I was in high school. Which is probably the reason no live version would live up to the hype for me.
