I wish I could have been a Rolling Stones groupie...

So it has to be asked--who is/was your favorite Stone(s)?

Oh, and Mick Taylor is overweight.

But may be dieting since the 02 shows. You be the judge:

"Before." 02 Dome.

"Now." Recently with Ronnie.

Well, not Bill, he's a little too leacherous and creepy. I'd definitely take Mick, for obvious reasons. I did have that unfortunate hankering for tortured souls girl thing, and Keith fits the bill there, but I'd have to stick him in the shower first. Ronnie's got that puppy dog, little brother thing about him which doesn't appeal to me, but I bet he'd surprise me. Charlie would be the ultimate challenge, but something tells me we'd have spent the night looking at his hotel room sketches and talking about horses.

Oh to be young again. Now-a-days, they are so old, we'd most likely all sit around playing Rolling Stones monopoly.

Yes, Mick T does appear to be slimming down a bit. He's giving away all his starchy banana bread snacks to Ronnie--maybe Woodie will put on a few pounds, but if all those years of Guinness didn't fatten him up, nothing will.

Also, Mick looks more content, his facial expression more relaxed--perhaps he's happy to be a Rolling Stone again. A long, wayward journey having come full circle at last.

1. not really a fan of

you cant always get what you want, its only rock and roll, start me up, miss you, beast of burden, honky tonk woman, all very overrated.

satisfaction, tumbling dice good but played to death and distracts from better material.

not a fan of people comparing 60,s to 70,s era, it all depends on what im listening to at the time.

not a fan of people comparing brian jones, mick taylor and ronnie wood, they all served a purpose for their time and contributed to the stones 50 year legacy.

i love silver train and the promo video.

love citadel and a lot of stuff from satanic majesties.

hate mixed emotions.

get well p1ssed off with people who mention the bands age, as they have been doing since the early 80,s. my answer to them is "go on you control your age then"

let it loose is the bands best ever song.

jj flash video turned me towards being a stones fan.

Well, what's wrong with that?

I'd say Stones fans may not need to be entertained by skinny musicians, but they sure as hell need to be entertained by a skinny singer. Could you imagine Mick dancing around the lip of that pit if he looked like Meatloaf?

I wish I had PhotoShop capabilities to show how ridiculous that would look.

- I think Mick Taylor is one of the greatest, legendary guitarists from the 60's and I know I am right. He jammed or played with all the greatest artists of all time including Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan.
- I wish Mick Jagger told his side of the story but maybe he is waiting until the Stones are completely done
- I think Keith is one of the coolest people ever but wish he kept some things to himself
- I love pretty much every album they made except Brdges To Babylon but I won't rule out someday later loving it
- I think Bill Wyman is one of the best bass players of all time
- I wish as well that the Stones did a country album, recorded with vintage equipment and steel guitars before its too late
- I think they could still come up with one more album but don't do it for money but for love of music. Go back to their roots.
- They should ask Bill to come back full time
- I think Keith's daughters are hot as well as Mick's
- I think Mick's son's band is really good
- I wish Keith would beat up Queen Elton
- Anita and Marianne were both super hot in their prime
- Mick should write songs with Mick Taylor. Or do an album of songs written by Ron Wood and Mick Taylor for a change.
- Mick Taylor should be a millionaire right now, Jagger should fix this asap
- I hope there is no truth to the rumor of Mick and Bowie.
- I hope that Mick is not really an egotistical person
- I like this message board. I hope you will all be my friend.

I don't misunderstand it; I simply don't care anymore. It's not going to change. It's the way it is. Enjoy the fact that they are up on a stage playing.

(Methinks some defending Mick T.'s erstwhile chunkiness might not themselves be as slim as Mick J. Just a thought. Although I'd be happy to be wrong.)
