Being Mick ...!

Now as much as the Stones may have gone downhilll, one guy who has kept rocking - Mick Jagger - it is amazing how much energy this guy has!!

For those Keith lovers, I reckon you should start looking at a guy who has kept the band ALIVE from day 1 - his performances to this day are still incredible!

Without Jagger = NO STONES

What an amazing person - certainly up with Elvis & Lennon.

BEING MICK - a great documentary....

Without a doubt, the Stones may not have made it past Exile if not for Mick.

But how good is the guy?

He would have to be the most amazing musician/performer for the past 40 years!

Yeah Esky, I'm with you! Everybody puts Mick down for being too commercial, too trendy, etc etc etc., but as you say he's the one that has kept the band functioning, and he's the one who comes through in the clutch. The fact that he's still Jumping Jack Flash at age 61 shows what a dedicated professional he is. He does belong up there in the list of Greatest Artists/Entertainers of All-Time.

I've often wondered, who is the most-photographed person in the history of the world? Mick J has got to be awfully high on that list!

Cheers,
karl

Too true karl.

But also - at his age - CAN ANYONE COME CLOSE TO HIM ...???
Robbie Williams, Michael Jackson (maybe in his prime), etc... ANSWER - NO!!!!

I doubt it - he is the greatest performer we have seen since Elvis!

Forget about how good the "art of weaving" is, look at the basics - The Stones are run by the greatest performer we know !!!

Right, Esky, but let's not forget the whole Keith in the process. The two are till the last fibre in their bodies interWOVEN by their ART. Forever!

How can you even compare Mick with Lennon.

Have you got a problem?

Lennon was a god - but Mick IS a god, definately give Lennon a good whipping when it comes to stage performing.

Jagger rules!! What an amazing personality. The guy got more energy than some 25 year old wannabe rocker. Jagger is totally unique. He is more Rock and Roll than anybody else. Being on top in this business for more than 40 years is just unbelievable. Nobody can stop him. And to me he is getting better and better.

IMO Mick blows Elvis away. I believe Elvis's good looks was much of the appeal, not the performance. Nobody performs like Jagger. I'd like to have seen Elvis dance to Midnight Rambler, scary thought.

I enjoy Jagger a lot but
wouldn't bother with him much
without the Stones. The sum is much
greater than the individual parts
as the Beatles break up also shows.
I'm glad they've stuck it out
together so long. Possibly they
realized this in the eighties
before they got back together
again. Good move!

Esky is right! Mick is the #1 man, best front man in rock, the glue that sticks the Stones together when it looks like they may come apart, the creative genius behind the band and the inspiration for generations of young singers. Keith is very jealous of him and that's why the outbursts! When Keith can't stand the praise Mick gets, he explodes! It's actually quite funny! Thank God for Mick! Think of all the joy he has brought into our lives!

But does anyone know the security guard? He's hot. I am so serious here. That scene with the lady who has the box that nearly explodes at the hotel lobby and Mick looks slightly frightened is priceless. And the security guard is just looking at Mick going ?????? Man, best scene in the whole damn thing (and the whole damn thing is fantastic!).
