"Speaking of Dukes, this band never toured at all. They just seemed to make one great album and.... disappear."

You still have PSONIC PSUNSPOT to discover -- lucky you!

No, I'm actually aware of this one, and technically, there was just one full-length album that you mention, as 25 O'Clock was a mini-album (EP?), and both titles fit comfortably on the single-CD anthology I have called Chips From The Chocolate Fireball. It's just that 25 O'Clock is the track that stands out after all these years.

So I guess I'll do some rediscovering, because DoS were quite good!

I could swear Jagger toured Japan in the late 80s.

But while they were famous and actively putting out music, they toured as normal. There's is a hiatus, not unlike many other bands/reunions have done. It would be like if the break The Stones took in the 80s extended 15-20 years.

Always loved that intro....Mr. Steely Dan or whatever!

Original guitarist Denny Dias lives down the street from me & his son is a close friend of my son.
