Prince is a huge name and him playing Montreux is worth mentioning for any Prince fans on the board.

Not exactly fully OT. Prince did tour with The Stones once [1981], and Charlie Watts likes him. According to Ron Wood, he was first made aware of Prince through Charlie:

Speaking on his show on Absolute Radio, Ronnie said: “I remember Charlie Watts was the first man to turn me on to Prince. He said, ‘Have you seen this guy, he’s got potential’.

....in October 1981 Prince played two shows at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as an opening act for The Rolling Stones. On the first date, Prince and his band didn't finish their set, as the crowd turned hostile towards him. Dressed in his controversial bikini briefs and trench coat, and singing his sexually androgynous lyrics, he was run off stage after 15 minutes of the crowd booing, throwing things at him and screaming homophobic and racist slurs.

After the show, Prince immediately flew back home to Minneapolis. After speaking with Dez Dickerson, manager Steve Fargnoli, and Mick Jagger himself, he returned for the second concert. Amidst the same hostility, as The Rolling Stones' fans heard about the incident at the first concert and came prepared to dog Prince again, Prince and his band finished their set this time.

OMG, I just posted something for information, that might be interested to some people here. It was clearly stated "OT" and "Prince" in the title... I don't understand why you read it if you don't care about Prince, second I don't understand why you react meaningless when you are not interested.
