Lorenz: Why don't you try another tactic? That one is old and not working.

Jo, I had to give it a try.
If you are into making underground videos now - you could do your own "Licks around the world Tour" and tape everything! I'm sure it would sell well :-)

To me, Charlie's the KING, Knighthood or not. I prefere NOT.
Actually Blair wanted His Highness The Human Riff to receive knighthood along with Sir Mick. However, when his highness heard the rumour, this is what he said: There ain't no @#$%&' way I'm gonna let anyone from THAT FAMILY (the royals) near me with a sword! (Wisely spoken, My dear Richards). All the best.

That quote of Keith's is from many years ago, Margareth...I think around the time BTB was released and probably before Blair would have been in a position to confer awards on anyone. I think it was from an interview in Q magazine when he was talking about aristocracy and rock music in general (ie, the same interview as his dismissal of Elton as "writing songs for dead blondes").

It was certainly years before Mick was even rumoured to be getting an award. Mick lobbied for his knighthood. I'd be very surprised if Keith was ever remotely considered for ANYTHING, considering his track record.
