I love pinball, I just bought my first machine, a 1992 Williams Fish Tales. Awesome game but very difficult. My favorite game however would be 1998's Monster Bash. Wow, the 90's was a wonderful time for pinball, the times are changin.
Any Pinheads here? Do you like playing, whats your favorite game, any owners? Share some pinball memories smiling smiley

If I had an extra 5-10 grand I would own that new Stones table... but... as it is... I mostly play Xbox 360 pinball these days, it is surprisingly good... but it is not the real deal.

If I had an extra 30-50 grand I would have a gallery of (5-10) pinball machines... from old fashioned to new fangled.... I love em all.

Yes, pinball is very relaxing. Played a lot when I was a kid in the late 70s. At the same place (where I played pinball) they hade an old jukebox too with all the latest singles and a great sound.
You don't see many of these around nowadays though.

It flaps and make loud noises when you score. Cool feature but extremely annoying and not suited for apartment use, so I keep it unplugged.

Here's me playing the 1979 Rolling Stones pin at the swedish pinball championship last year. Not a big fan of vintage games but that would be nice to own, have yet to try the new Stern machine.

Thats too bad they make it go off so often that you unplug it... I was thinking it was one of those rarer feature that only kicked on on, or started singing (or something) when you were in something like FISH-O-MANIA-ZONE!!! or something like that winking smiley... making it go off too often is too bad... but HUGE props to you for having a pinball machine an apartment (and btw- The hanging guitar is great too)

I used to love playing Pinball as a kid.

My favorite machine was Gorgar.
We were all convinced that he would taunt with this menacing phase:

"I'm Gorgar.
Eat.
Me."

Love pinball. The new AC/DC machine looks absolutely kickass.

There was an "Aliens" pinball machine back in the 80s in a cafe where I used to have my dinner.

I became an expert on it, I could clock up an infinite score after a while. The cafe owner hated me playing on it.

I would leave it wil loads of free games on it.

That "SNOCK" is so satisfying.

Thanks! And if you look closely at the picture you can spot the cover arts of Aftermath and Black & Blue somewhere..

So... what is your opinion about the 1980 Bally RS pinball machine and Stern's 2011 version? Which of the two do you like better?

Video of the 1980 machine:

This is the most recently added YouTube submission of a 1980 Rolling Stones pinball machine. Please tell me what you think of it today.
