I saw this band last night, they are amazing musicians. really good harmony vocals, although this clip from a couple years ago is instrumental.

not all that familiar with them but the fiddle player, Nicky Sanders, is a real virtuoso improviser..great blues and jazz feel..

The song they do with Steve, "Athiests have no songs" is priceless, look up some old Austin City Limits for this show.

that's the show where steve said playing there brought him one step closer to fulfilling his lifelong ambition of playing on austin city limits.

Steve also said he had walked off with a grammy that year, then found out he actualy won it.

Great idea having a comic playing great music, nice mix of but kick music and comedy.

The first time I heard about this group backing Martin, I thought they said they were called the Steve Canyon Rangers, like the Milton Caniff comic strip.
