theres no circulating recording and probably never will be.
All of the guests were under strict instructions not to tape it. I've heard that whilst the Stones record every show theyve done for about the last 30 years, this was (deliberately) one exception.

I think they were overly concerned with it being bootlegged, I guess

Does anyone know where i can find this book? I tried to find it at amazone.com but they don't have it.
This gig, along with the 1981 Worcester club gig and the full El Mocombo shows are the biggest mysteries. I guess the whole 1970-71 tours are too but at least we know what songs were played at those shows.

We also know what songs were played at the shows you mention..........
According to Torna dn Frayed, the songs played and personnel at the Stu show were: Date: February 23rd Event: THE ROLLING STONES & FRIENDS - (Ian Stewart Tribute Show for Family and Friends) Venue: London, 100 Club Setlist: Route 66 Down The Road Apiece Key To The Highway Confessin’ The Blues Mannish Boy Bye Bye Johnny Harlem Shuffle Just Another Night Little Red RoosterDown In The Bottom Dust My Blues Little Queenie
Line Up: The Rolling Stones with (for various songs) Eric Clapton (gtr) Jeff Beck (gtr) Simon Kirke (dr) Pete Townshend (gtr) Jack Bruce (bass) Chuck Leavell (keyb)
Potten Shrimp, do we really know if those supposed set lists are real. I mean every time I see those set lists it always says they supposedly played... In Jean-Marie's book about the 78 tour there are articles about the El Mocombo gig and there are songs mentioned that were played that weren't on any set list I have seen from that gig.
Also I can't see the Stones playing a Mick Jagger solo song.
Just another night was only Jagger/Beck/Wymann/Watts I presume.......... Also these songs were played in a loose setting for some friends. No time for real rehearsals, so my guess is that most songs were jams. The 1977 gig-setlist are common knowledge. Which songs from here book are not on any setlist?
