Video Killed the Radio Star

Videos have been with us for many many years now. The Stones have been around film since the 1960s, but their video output has been somewhat spotty. I loved the early raw videos like Respectable, but what do you guys say about their videos? Harlem Suffle was great....but for a band with so much charisma and so much stage presense, their videos come up short. What say you?

IORR is the best clip ever! Esp. when Keith thinks that Mick is going to kick him! Briljant stuff....

The Stones are a great visual live group and i would always rather see them do a performance type video even if they are miming. The seventies/ early eighties videos (or promo films) were fine because they were more basic (Miss You, Respectable, Emotional Rescue, Start me up etc) and i thought Waiting On A Friend was one really great non performance video.
I remember Undercover Of The Night causing a storm over it's violent political content and She Was Hot for it's fun sexual content. While not my favourite i think these videos portrayed the songs effectively enough.
It's really the later more elaborate videos that leave me cold - those that are made with MTV clearly in mind. Rock And A Hard Place is abou the worst of the lot - it really is horrible.

I thought the video for Love Is Strong was great.Just abbout all the others leave me so-so.I think part of the reasons ia that the guys have just never been that much into the video foramt, maybe I am wrong.
