Spot on, Super. And he wore a gorilla suit during their last concert (Newark PPV, Dec 15) to further underline it. Sir Michael is the alpha male gorilla in The Rolling Stones - the silverback giant!

Jagger was never not the most important member of the group, to take nothing from Keith's contribution.

mick was just the singer when brian jones formed the rolling stones

...and without Ronnie, Keith and Mick would never have gotten past WW3, or without Charlie's drumming, they wouldn't have had their unique sound. The amount of contribution has varied at different times amongst all the members over their 50 years. You could simply say that without each of them we probably wouldn't have had that unparalleled group known as The Rolling Stones.

Nope. Some advertising company came up with about 12 ideas. Narrowed it down to about six. Went before mick and charlie and that's what they picked. Same old story.

No it's not....they actually PICKED the monkey idea this time.

"No no, nothing with Greatest Rock & Roll blah blah in it"
"How about abbreviating it?"
[Ronnie starts writing GRRBITW but gets distracted in the middle]
"GRR?!?"
"GRR!!!" [general hilarity]
"Come on! Yes! All right! We can do this!"

This guy came up with the name GRRR! while he was foraging for food in the forest...

It's not really that bad a name, it's easily remembered, very simple and quirky
