While on the subject of hate, there are cretain bands and performers that make be cringe and turn the dial whenever I hear them. I know this will be controversial because it's a matter of taste but here we go, the bands and artists I truely hate:

1. Genesis (any Phil Collins)
2. Def Leopard
3. Police (any Sting)
4. Elton John (anything in the last 25 years, previous stuff good)
5. Yes

Good question! I love Police, by the way, but Sting became a weiner after they split up.

1. Meat Loaf, I could kill him for that stupid "I would do anything for loaf/love
1. Robbie Williams (some songs sound good but that's not because of him)
2. Billy Joel for his song "Honesty"

There are more but these come to my mind immediately...

What about: Duran Duran, A-Ha, Toto, offspring, Blur, Beegees, Fleedwood Mac, The Bangles, all boybands offcourse, Rammstein, etc...

OK, have to take offence here. Skynyrd? Aerosmith? Great bands, southern rock such as Skynyrd and the Allmans was and is pure magic.

Nirvana!!! OVERRATED

I love Nirvana. I can see why some people don't like them, but I do. Even though it's very "hard" (Like heavy metal. Not that it's difficult) to listen to, it has the blues feeling all the way. That's mainly why I like Nirvana. Kurt Cobain was a great screamer-singer and the compositions were also very good IMO.
I remember Jagger saying that he wasn't part of the whole Nirvana craze because he thought it was too angst-ridden. It is angst-ridden, but that's why I like Nirvana. It's also why I like songs like Gimme Shelter. It has that great feel of angst over it.

And I also think that "Unplugged In New York" is one of the best live albums ever.

Jackass....do you have any idea from 1970 on how lonley I felt musically not being part of the I love The Police, EJ, Yes and I will add the Moody Blues and EL&P to thatt list. It was tough to be a sixties rocker with all that going on.
