I want to take you on The Rolling Stones '69 Tour

I said I would put something special up for the fans for the holidays and I hope that you enjoy this 'taste' of things to come..

For New Year's I will put up something from 'Gimme Shelter'..

Based on a parable from George Harrison (hope the die hard Stones fans don't mind a Beatles reference), I am sharing my grains of sand..

I am glad that you 'like' my posting. As far as an ETA for the book goes.. it will be 3 to 6 months-hopefully. I just started to talk to people that were in the background and have some new insights that will really add to the content and memorabilia that I have.
It's been an interesting experience which has me waking up with my mind going wild with old memories. Luckily I have the documents to back up the memories..
I think you'll really love my 'Gimme Shelter' post next week..

IORR got me thinking. I noticed an interesting discussion when I signed on a few weeks ago--San Diego 11th Nov 69 - it was a discussion on whether or not a matinee show was played by the Stones on the 11th in San Diego on the '69 tour, after all there was a possible poster My memory was blurry as was everyone else's that were involved. Even I thought there could have been a show.
I had all the papers from the '69 tour, I should be able to answer the question. My Chip Monck call sheets showed no extra show but I went a couple of steps further. I checked with Bill Belmont who had been the one to make Chip's call sheets and make the tour travel arrangements. Bill filled in the other points brought up in the discussion and all the questions were answered. This exercise renewed my connection with the other people involved in the tour.
I want to make sure I get it right for you Fans and to let you know that you have helped!

Great detective sleuthing, Ronnie - excited for you to be in the midst of this process, and
for us, to have a great book on the way!

I love it!! Great job, and I will want to read this entire book. I was only 16 in 1969 and had no way to the show in NYC...I went in 1972 and never missed a tour after that! Thanks for sharing, Ron.
