I was wondering if the fan who appears in the Stones' 3-minute montage before the "50 Years and counting" concerts is a member of the iorr.org community -- I'm talking about the dude in the Voodoo Lounge t-shirt with long hair. I thought he was brilliant.

He really did express the feelings of a lot of us here......brilliantly

He was great! Had the right look, too.

No offence to MonkeyTonkMan, but I thought it was an actor. It felt too staged and forced imho.

I saw all 3 NY/NJ shows and his exploding energy hit just the right note, helped fire up the crowd and really connected with the hardcore fans.

(so please -- Monkeytonkman, tell us this was you and not some actor)

I loved the fan video! I felt so proud to know that several members of our IORR family were included.

I didn't think Monkeytonkman felt forced at all. He was a riot!


I liked everyone else though. I like Justin's (i think someone said it was him) story about Keith holding a gun to him. Actually when I first saw that footage, I thought it was Gary Oldman at first.

I literally laughed out loud at the "it would be rude to pick" comment.

The I'd let them all @#$%& me part was classic.

He is a fan I know someone who has known him for years.Will get his name and pass it on But the main thing he is not an actor he is a fan from uk

Thank God for him keeping us entertained during a long day's wait outside in the cold for Keith's London book signing. It was a laugh a minute.

I think he is a fun and honest guy.......loved it....................

I think the going rate is roughly the cost of two pit tickets on Stub Hub (not face, but including fees).

That was a great way to begin a concert. Fans perfectly describing why we love The Stones. MonkeyTonkMan definately stood out from the others though. Glad this has been pointed this out. Was this in the ppv? I hope the whole intro is there.

Malachy (who directed the pre-concert film) told us that it will be included as an extra on the live DVD, possibly in a longer version. We all had to sign release forms accordingly.

I don't normally enjoy these things too much but he was great

It was. I have to say I got a kick out of the fact that Paulywaul's confession about which Stone he'd have sex with has now been seen by a worldwide audience.
