This was another case of sheer chaos entering the world. I have no other words for this. I feel so sorry for the victims and their relatives.
Tougher Gun laws? Any insane person who is planning a horrible thing like this will always be able to organize everything needed to do it, no matter how difficult it is.
However, I believe that a world where children as young as 10 or 12 years old play violent ego-shooter computer games will create more and more of these insane incidents in future.

My heart aches for the victims and their families. I just can't imagine the grief being felt..makes me sick to my stomach. RIP sweet children. Please pray for the families!

This issimply awful. Right before Christmas makes it all the more painful. I do not cry much or too emotional but I did cry when seeing this. My heart goes out to everyone at that school. The children at the school will be scarred for life. The president was deeply saddened as well. I am hopeful that he can use his oratory skills and calming presence to offer some comfort for the people of Newtown. I have a third grade student myself and I am just saddened by this tragedy. 20 kids bewtween 5 and 10 I can not make any sense of this. I want to know what would move a person to massacre kids like this??

Very sad day. When I left my house I had only seen the early reports which made it sound as if one person was shot in the foot. Later when I saw the news online it was trememdously sad. It's hard to compare different tragedies (terrorist attacks, mass shootings, natural disasters etc.) but this has to be one of the saddest in American history.
