3 guitars on Lady Jane Thursday ?

As I was watching the video, I was wondering whether there was a 3rd guitar, 12-string, playing on Lady Jane ?? yawning smiley

Keith plays on a folk one with a very recognizable sound, Ronnie plays the melody. But then I really get the feeling that some 12-string guitar comes in (00:36), although it's difficult to tell without seeing Ronnie.

Especially at 2:23/24 on the video, we see what Keith is doing (and actually between two chords, while it clearly sounds like two other guitars are there)

I wondered that too and I think it`s Chuck in the piano with a cembalo sound.

Huh? Ronnie is playing a 12-string. Two guitars, that's all.

I didn't attend the show, but judging the 12 string guitar, it must be Ron.

I agree, he plays a 12-string. But there is also another 12-string guitar sound that comes in after (when Mick sings) while Ronnie's melodic lines continue (the one he was playing from the very beginning with Keith). Now, he could be doing both at the same time but that would be unusual from the Stones !

I havent seen any video where we clearly see what Ronnie does.

That's what I hear too...the cembalo is on the original record but only with one guitar so it sound a bit strange as if you hear 3 guitars

Yeah, or harpsicord effect, but it's definitely chuck.

Ok thanks, indeed BJ is credited for this harpsicord piano.
